Oat Hay Oxbow
Oat Hay is
companion forage that is similar in nutritional analysis to the
western timothy. Your animals will love the immature oat grain that
is contained in the seed head and will benefit greatly from the
fiber in the leaf and stem. Oat Hay is a good source of fiber and
also gives variety to your animal's diet. This product also makes a
good bedding alternative to wheat straw.
100% Oat Hay.
Preservative and Additive Free. Loose Hay contains stems, leaves,
and limited seed heads.

I use this as a topper on my buns Timothy Hay. They race to the hay and get all excited when I use this. They love it!

I have a very picky eater, my dwarf bunny would not eat timothy hay at all, so I bought three different kids of OxBow hays (Oat, Organic Meadow and botanical) and he loves them all. We rescued him from a shelter, so I didn't know what he liked to eat. I am so thankful he liked this stuff, otherwise . . .

One of my bunnies is a chewer. She smelled the chuck of willow tree but no chewing yet. The other two bunnies just ignored it.

My bunnies love this stuff and so do I. One of my bunnies is not fond of loose hay but he likes this.
Bunnies, not fans
From Serena Jonnet of Monroeville, Pennsylvania on 10/29/2013.
I thought this might be a nice supplement to their Timothy Gold hay but no luck. They really don't care for it. All they want is more Timothy Gold hay. They love that.
Nice hay diversion
From Scooter Beans of Farmington, New Mexico on 5/29/2013.
Scooter seems to like the oat hay pretty well although I've noticed he usually leaves the oat grain heads(?) which is the part I thought he'd like the best. I actually bought this to use as a treat in place of the dried willow twigs that were out of stock at the time, so even though he doesn't get all . . .
Good, thick hay
From Hopocalypse Now of Washington, District of Columbia on 4/4/2013.
My girl loves this stuff. I just put a handful on top of her timothy and orchard grass hay to mix things up a bit. the texture is quite different, so it provides a nice variety for her.
