A Healthy Product! Developed by a certified nutritionist & herbalist, as well as a fellow bunny rescuer/lover.

This vitamin and mineral rich herbal food supplement is designed especially for older bunnies, (but also loved by younger adult buns), to help improve overall health, vigor and vitality. The ingredients: Organic alfalfa leaf, nettles, burdock root oatstraw herb, carrot pieces, oat groats, meadowsweet, celery, and celeriac, include highly nutritive, classic tonic herbs for strengthening connective tissue, maintaining healthy joints, and easing the discomforts of arthritis and aging in addition to cleansing and nourishing the blood, and providing a nervous system tonic for aging or debilitated animals.

Use daily for best therapeutic results, stirring mixture well to get a good blend of the smaller particles with each serving.

Serving Size: One teaspoon daily served alone or as a pellet topper. Stir mixture well before serving.

Keep unused portion tightly sealed and dry. Store in a a cool, dry location away from sunlight.

I love this mix - it is obviously made of quality freshly grown products - my bunny loves it and would eat much more of it than is recommended, if I allowed her! I love that you are using recycled boxes and really enjoyed the homey feel of the pictures of bunnies on the outside of the box - nice touch! . . .

My youngest bun is 6 and all of them are getting this mix. I just recently found out about it so can't vouch for its health benefits, but the herb choices are great and the bunnies all seem to gobble it. Am hoping it becomes available in larger sizes :)

Our older bun, Dennis was beginning to tip over and have trouble with arthritis. We were fearing the worst for him as he is at least 10 years old. (He may be older, but with rescue bunnies, you can never be sure.) I ordered two containers of the Old Bones Mix as a possible remedy, but never really thinking . . .
