Mats The Busy
three different size options
in mats from The Busy Bunny - Natural sea grass and nothing else.
Safe and edible, they are soft and thin, perfect for protecting
sensitive feet from a wire cage floor or use as a another
chewing distraction. They won't roll up quite as easily as the
straw mats and can also be used in the Ton O Fun Bun
Note: Because these are hand made and natural, size and colors
placing over or near favorite naughty chew spots (like carpet hot
spots, underneath furniture, etc)
love to rattle the pen door at night or early in the morning. Weave
this mat through the pen bars over and near their door and it keeps
them busy with a new chewing project.
Small - 2.5
Large - 3 oz
X-Large - 5 oz
lovely little mats!
From Caoilfhionn Magnus of Saint Paul, Minnesota on 3/31/2014.
My girls haven't done much chewing on their mats, but they sure love to sleep on them! The mats themselves are tightly woven, very nicely made - it's especially nice to be able to move the mats around to my buns' favourite locations.
All bunnies have different personalities
From Laura of Bismarck, North Dakota on 3/7/2014.
I have two Lion bunnies, Sparkle is 6 years old and Thumper is 4 months old. Sparkle is layed back and Thumper is all over the place. I bought each of them their own mat. Sparkle chews on hers maybe once every few days. Thumper on the other hand has hers half eaten and then pulls Sparkles through the . . .
From Carrots & Cottontails Rabbit Rescue of Melbourne, Florida on 2/4/2014.
Our bunnies in the rescue simply love these mats! We just wish they were not so slick. It is hard for the bunnies to get their footing but it sure makes it easy for them to play with the mats! We have one little guy, Jeremy, that has moved his between his litter pan and the wall of his round pen and . . .
It works well for flooring
From Cindy Paulson of Aiken, South Carolina on 1/20/2014.
We put this on the bottom of their cage for traction. So far they have shown no interest in chewing on it but that will probably change when they notice they can chew it. Gotta love them Bunnies.....
Nice, but thin
From Bobbie Crawford of Hazel Park, Michigan on 11/17/2013.
This mat is lovely, but it's quite thin. I'd suggest going with the double weave mat.
From Anonymous of Chestnut Ridge, New York on 11/15/2013.
My bunny is almost 9 years old and is very fussy about where she likes to sit. Some other straw mats do not appeal to her as they are not as soft as these, although they make for great snacking! She likes to chew these up too, so I buy the largest size and they last a long time.
Sea Grass Mats
From Joan Maury of Valley Springs, California on 11/10/2013.
Our rabbit loves his grass mat. It keeps him busy when we gone, as he likes his attention. We got the large one and cut it to the size we needed and he chewed on the other parts and put them where he wanted them.
bun wont eat it
From moogielover84 of vancovuer, Washington on 10/16/2013.
The braided-like material is pretty and seems sturdy and well made, but my bun is not interested in it one bit. oh well :(
