Oat Hay Oxbow
Oat Hay is
companion forage that is similar in nutritional analysis to the
western timothy. Your animals will love the immature oat grain that
is contained in the seed head and will benefit greatly from the
fiber in the leaf and stem. Oat Hay is a good source of fiber and
also gives variety to your animal's diet. This product also makes a
good bedding alternative to wheat straw.
100% Oat Hay.
Preservative and Additive Free. Loose Hay contains stems, leaves,
and limited seed heads.

I have one bunny that does not like the timothy hay so I was told to try this one. She seems to like it pretty good so far.
Oat hay comparison

I have tried both the Oxbow oat hay mini bale and the loose oat hay bags and must say I love the sun cured mini bale more! My bunnies like both, but the mini bale was a real hit and they literally ate every blade whereas the loose hay got a bit scattered. Both are good! But I'm going back to the mini . . .
They love it…but

I have two bunnies: one hay eater and one non-hay eater. Of course, the non-hay eater has been ordered by the vet to eat more hay. They get orchard grass regularly, but the non-hay eater isn't overly excited about it. They both loved the oat hay, but they also loved the botanical hay and the mini . . .
Zinnia loves it !!!

I have a very picky eater, my dwarf bunny would not eat timothy hay at all, so I bought three different kids of OxBow hays (Oat, Organic Meadow and botanical) and he loves them all. We rescued him from a shelter, so I didn't know what he liked to eat. I am so thankful he liked this stuff, otherwise . . .
