Pet Hair Magnet ®By Petmate
A BinkyBunny member was so ecstatic about this product, they wrote to us to tell us all about it and posted about their experience. We bunny lovers know that when bunnies molt –it gets on everything! Some of our bunnies molt a few times a year, while others seem to be on a moltathon. Forget those tape type hair remover rollers – they get full of hair so fast that they quickly become useless. But with the Pet Hair Magnet, just a few strokes with this rubber blade and you can quickly get hair off of anything! Clothes, Carpet, Drapes, Furniture.
The Pet Hair Magnet has a specially designed, 7" rubber blade that works dry: pull it along to pull hair from carpeting, upholstery, blankets, clothing and car seats. This pet hair remover even picks up embedded hair a vacuum can't get! Just rinse the Pet Hair Magnet and use again and again.
Pet Hair Magnet Dimensions: 7"W
Customer Testimonial and Tip about how to use it: "The thing works by creating static that attracts the fur, etc. that's on the surface (blanket, etc.) when you use it like a squeegee. The static attracts the fur and the ridges roll the fur, etc. into a ball or roll so you can just pick up the roll and put it in the trash. Short strokes work best.
My husband de-furred/littered both sides of 12 (1/4 yard each) pieces of fleece plus two large pieces (4 yards x @ 5 feet) yesterday while watching tv."
Pet Hair Magnet was not useful.
From Candace Powell of Hilliard, Ohio on 6/14/2016.
I have three cats and was hoping this would work on cat hair that gets on our lazy boy and other furniture. I also tried the carpet. I did not find it useful. I feel like I wasted my money.
A Real Handy Tool
From Donna Nastro of Huntington, New York on 5/6/2016.
Always looking for new handy tools and this fits the bill. Makes raking up the hair on blankets, furniture, etc. that much easier. Works great on his fleece blanket.
Amazing for fleece blankets
From Keilly of Oakland, California on 3/10/2016.
I just received this last week and it is amazing! I use fleece blankets to line my buns' pen area and this thing gathers up bunny hair like a dream! It saves me so much time between laundry sessions. It doesn't really work on nappy fabrics, like my wall to wall carpeting or towels. However, it works . . .
Not as good as I had hoped
From Sandie of Homosassa, Florida on 2/17/2016.
It really does not do that good a job. I have a long haired angora bunny. I tried using it on the sofa he loves to hang out on, the carpet where he likes to stretch out and my clothes after holding him. Do not get much hair at all so have to still use one of those roller type things for getting lint . . .
From Lisa Mastroberti of Endicott, New York on 2/13/2016.
I like to call this the "fluff squeegee." It works extremely well on the area rug and quite decently on the carpet. I think there's got to be some magic involved. I love it.
From jackie va of stockton, California on 9/6/2014.
It really works well!! The rabbits like hanging out in their condo where itd be hard for me to vaccum. I press it on the carpet rugs and pull in a motion like you would use it on a windshield wiper.Balls of fur come out and you can easily throw it away. Some areas may not have fur so you might not see . . .
Not useful in my house
From Janet of Watertown, Massachusetts on 8/29/2014.
I've tried this on my jeans and on my carpet and have had no success removing fur or even gathering it into one pile. I don't understand the hype. Masking tape and reusable lint brushes work much better, as does my Black & Decker Dustbuster!
From Chelsea of Olympia, Washington on 7/15/2014.
I think I must be missing something. Is there something you have to do to make this work? It doesn't do anything, other than maybe work as a squeegee to move hair into a pile.
