The Original BinkyBunny Maze, Mini, & Tunnel Haven

Back in 2008, 16 years ago, BinkyBunny launched the Maze and Mini Haven, followed shortly by the Tunnel Haven, all with one mission in mind: to create something special for rabbits, chinchillas, and guinea pigs. We knew these little critters love to explore, burrow, and hide, so we dreamed up a reconfigurable maze that would satisfy their natural instincts. 

The owners, Jennifer and Steve, didn’t stop at just an idea—they tested the designs with rabbit and chinchilla rescues, got advice from a rabbit-savvy vet, and made adjustments based on all that feedback. Steve, an architect and co-owner of BinkyBunny, took the lead in designing the Maze, ensuring it was not only fun but also safe and sturdy. 

As for the Tunnel Haven, it has a cool backstory: Steve originally designed a life-sized version of it back in 1983 as his first architecture project—big enough for him to sleep in! That early design became the inspiration for the Tunnel we know and love today. 

Since 2008, these products have been a proud staple of BinkyBunny, bringing joy and adventure to small pets everywhere!
