Apple Stick Hay Feeder (Enriched Life by Oxbow)

My bunnies and guinea pig are all very big fans of this product! It's a must-have!

My bunny enjoys chewing on the feeder more than using it as a feeder, as we have it hanging from the ceiling of his house. It keeps him busy and it’s fun to watch him chase it around. Was very easy to put together and hang!

At first my bunny ignored it when I put it in her puppy pen. When she discovered the apple sticks she went crazy chewing them. Now the feeder is destroyed so I’ll get her another one!

It can be a bit of a hassle to refill and my buns preferred chewing on the bottom of the feeder (wood) more than the hay. Being as the bottom and top aren't super secure this most often meant they pulled the bottom out, the hay fell out and they played with it as a chew toy while making a great mess. Oddly enough, once I could no longer keep the bottom secure and filled with hay, they lost interest. Overall it was a good toy while it lasted, albeit a messy one, but I don't know that I would repurchase.

I had such high hopes for this. I could not get it to form a box, to be able fill it with hay. I tried to it get in unfolded so many times, in so many different ways. BinkyBunny was awesome and refunded my money. They asked me to write this review.
