Botanical Hay - 15 oz
Share:
Oxbow's Botanical Hay is a flavor-packed hay with extra personality. This enticing blend unites Western Timothy Hay with a rich array of three of the following fragrant herbs: chamomile, lemon verbena, hibiscus, lavender, rose hips, comfrey, borage or red clover blossoms. Alternate Botanical Hay with other Oxbow grass hays, or mix it in with other hays to create appetizing, long-strand fiber meals.
A great boredom buster hay! Without a little variety in any diet, mealtime can get mundane.
Botanical Hay can be fed free choice to rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, prairie dogs and other herbivores as an alternative to timothy, oat hay, and brome. Free-choice means that the feed is available at all times. If they finish what is given, you need to give them more! Hay should not only be used for nutritional purposes, but also for mental stimulation and the promotion of natural foraging behavior.

Perfect and fresh. This really helps my older head tilt bun still be motivated for hay sometimes
I could not see anything except overly mature timothy. The fragrance was of no interest to my 2 rabbits.
These 3 know at 11am they will be getting their mid-morning snack. Boy, do they chow down on this hay!! After they’ve finished, they take a short nap.
This is overly mature Timothy with a little herbal smell that attracts humans thru the plastic package but of no interest to my rabbits who do love dried dandelion and spring grown white clover leaf.
My mini lop loves this before bed time!
Lola bun n Patrick piggy devour this hay! And it smells awesome and gives them a sweet smell on their body too! 🥰. It’s a great mix to add to their Timothy hay and Oat hay❤️
my bunny loves this type of hay
Smells so good my BunZ loves it
I love the smell of this hay...and Olive really loves it too!
Nice hay, certainly smells great. A bit expensive, though, the bag is quite small. Makes a nice occasional treat, though.
My wife is allergic to Timothy, and I'm a tad dyslexic. So I didn't notice that this was a Timothy blend until I got it in the mail! Not the company's fault.
BUT, I gave it to one of my bun's little companions, and she loved it! So I'd definitely recommend this to bunnies without allergies.
My guinea pigs Mr.Peabody and Billy Bob get so excited when we give them this hay. They eat more of this hay then the other ones, so I give them just this one at times or I'll mix it in with the orchard grass or meadow hay etc. to give them even more variety. It smells good too!
Furrgus is very picky about hay so any hay he eats is great for me!
My bunnies love this ! They get very excited when i give them some on top of their Timothy hay.
I have a very picky eater, my dwarf bunny would not eat timothy hay at all, so I bought three different kids of OxBow hays (Oat, Organic Meadow and botanical) and he loves them all. We rescued him from a shelter, so I didn't know what he liked to eat. I am so thankful he liked this stuff, otherwise I had no idea what to do.
I don't believe this is a bad product. I give 3 stars because my bunny simply doesn't like this blend. I thought it would be nice to mix in a little more flavor (anthropomorphizing a little...), but I actually think my bunny is deterred from his hay when I add a handful of this botanical blend. Too bad because it smells divine!
The package did take at least a week to arrive, but my bunny couldn't be happier with the free gift and the Botanical Hay from Oxbow! Thank you, Binky Bunny!
When I fist got Dust, he did not seem to like eating hay, after I started to switch between this and the Timothy hay, he has had no problems, and seems to enjoy.
My bunny circles and jumps when she smells this hay coming.
My bunnies loved this hay. they are now eager eaters. This hay even smells wonderful. like a field in summer. we will use this from now on. no more local hay for my Bunnies.
The product smelled really nice to me, but my little Specter thinks otherwise. He is not a big fan of this one but loves Oxbox's organic orchard hay,.and western timothy hays.
My bunny likes this hay. She seems to like the flowers and herbs in the mix.
My little poe seems to like the Timothy Hay better. It does make quite a mess when dishing it up. There are alot of smaller pieces that drop out when I am serving them to her.
This hay is great for anyone who is having trouble getting their bunny to eat enough hay. My bunnies went crazy for it. It smells nice too.
So I'm glad Binky Bunny had it. I think this is Cinnamon's favorite hay. And it smells good!
