Cottontail Cottage

Our Rabbit loves this, it is his second one and it Bun Bun loves to chew this house to shreds.

All of my bunnies love it!! Immediately ran to it when I set it up and they spend most of their time hanging out in it. Set up was quick and easy. Great buy!

We call this my bunny's condo! She absolutely loves it and uses all three floors. She weighs about 4 pounds and it's a decent size for her. The only thing is she looooves to chew on the floors but they're so easy to replace. It's great that it's so easy to take apart and put back together again if we're ever traveling.

I've been purchasing these rabbit cottages for the past few years, and they've been consistently great. They're well-made, durable, and my rabbits absolutely love them. They provide a cozy place for them to relax, hide, and even chew, which helps keep them happy and entertained.

Absolutely the best bunny habitat. All my bunnies love it. Currently I have two for two different rooms. Cottontail cottage is always every bun favorite.

That said there may be other buns that may love this. My buns don’t. It’s been almost a month since getting this and my buns don’t really want to spend much time in it. They spend their time in other hideys. I had the maze haven before this and they loved it. As a matter of fact, that was their “main base”.

It’s really my fault because when their maze haven needed replacing, I thought they’d enjoy something new. For now they have to put up with it until I can save some money and then I’ll buy them the maze haven again.

The product is as described. It came as advertised and was easy to put together. Looks just like shown in photos. But because my buns don’t like it, I feel it’s only fair to give it a neutral 3 stars. Again, I did not give it a 3 stars because it’s a bad product. It’s just not right for us which is a shame cause I would’ve loved to have eventually gotten several to put side by side for them. Like a little town.

Each of our rabbits has LOVED the Cottontail Cottage - as a hiding place for resting or sleeping, as a lookout” spot for watching the humans, and for “chewing recreation” or bunstruction.

A favorite with all my bunnies for years. I glue carpet remnants on the ramps for traction.

Both of my bunnies love the cottage!!! I keep extras on hand to make sure they always have one to play in, hide in and chew on!!!!

I have purchased the Cottontail Cottage more times than I can count over the years, but this last one was either poorly made or defective, as the main building doesn't "close" the tabs don't reach far enough to hold it in place. So I had to use major tape to hold at least the top tab in place, as the bottom one is too close to where they bunnies chew.

This cardboard sanctuary is essential in providing a resting area as well as giving an outlet to rabbits natural instinct to chew. I can’t imagine not having a Cottage. Truly contributes to both my bunnies well being.

Our 2 bunnies love their Cottage. They play on all levels and love to do lots of remodeling. This is their 2nd one, but their first one lasted about a year. It gives them a place to lay, hide, play, and chew. It is also sturdy. Our buns are about 5 pounds each and they will both sit and play on the top floor at the same time.

Perfect hideaway for my buns. It holds up to a lot of chewing and reconstructing. I usually only replace it when it gets too dirty with rabbit fur and dust and occasional recycled hay pellets from the buns.

They love hiding and using this as a launchpad onto the bed. Great and easy way for them to enjoy some sanctioned destruction too!

We buy these about once a year (after the prior one is demolished. It saves our furniture and we love watching and playing with the buns and their house.

Cardboard too slippery for my bunnies so we installed rubber flooring for each level.

I originally bought this, thinking it would be a deterrent for my rabbit. He likes to try to get behind the couch, The cottontail cottage has worked out marvelously he chewed it so it would not stand straight so I ended up trimming it down and it’s still going strong. I ordered a second one, and he basically did the same thing chewing the ramp and the legs so it was wonky and I cut them down too so now he has two but he loves it. He likes it when I have a little pieces of fabric to cover the windows so it’s dark like a little fort. I have to say this is one of the best products I have bought so far for Bun Bun.

Both bunnies adore this little vacation home. They go in there all the time..only had it for a year and a half but It’s kept up it’s quality and I’d definitely recommend it!
