Bunnies love this because it is similar to a natural root or stick that they would instinctively chew on in the wild. The curly shape is enticing. The softer thinner sticks strands are easy for them to sink their teeth into and get something really accomplished while they have to work a bit more at the trunk. Fun time Bun time! This natural willow Curly Q stick measures about 15" (38.10 cm). Created by taking several long strands of unpeeled willow bundled together and then creating the curly Q top.
NOTE: What are those fuzzy buds? Sometimes the willow blooms. The bud flowers into a fuzzy bloom - looks a tiny fuzzy bug or caterpillar, but that is just part of the Willow Plant. It is not harmful. It is not mold. It is just a natural part of the plant growth.

My bun Scooter is not usually big on willow sticks or toys, but he loves this one. I think he likes how it doesn't lay flat on the floor.

For Bigger Bunnies, These are Even Better Than Candy Canes!
I recently ordered these for the first time because BinkyBunny was temporarily out of willow candy canes, and I'm glad I did! Both our rabbits are larger breeds (a 13-pound Flemish giant and a 10-pound Florida white); the curly sticks are larger and more proportional to their sizes than the smaller candy canes. However, the curly sticks still disappeared too quickly! I would say these are now our rabbits' second-favorite BinkyBunny product after willow wreaths.
General Toy Precautions: Ensure your rabbit doesn't ingest large quantities of any toy. It's important they don't become satiated and neglect their essential high-fiber diet, crucial for maintaining a healthy digestive system. If you find your bunny actually eats large portions at once, we advise removing the toy and only offering it to them for brief periods under supervision.
