We have had many customers request that we sell safe natural twine for hanging their pet's toys. Well, we finally found the perfect twine made of natural sea grass. This is ideal for hanging any of our chew toys. Perfect solution for attaching our Willow Tents and  to the side of your bunny's Pen. Stronger than raffia and safe to chew!

But we also have RAFFIA too, that works well for similar projects or even just hanging by itself -- bunnies love it.  Check out Raffia options too!

Fun Ideas:

If you have a bunny that like to eat all the basket sides and leaves the bottoms, this is a great way to make a DIY toy by tying all the bottom together and create a hanging toy with them.

Hang other toys with this.  Check out what we did -- Cousteau Loves it!

I cut pieces that are about 2 inches long and spread them around the pen so my bunny can forage and enjoy them. She absolutely loves them

Sea Grass Twine - so useful

We use this to hang Vine Stars in the cages of rabbits and guinea pigs awaiting adoption. Have repaired toys with it as well. So glad to have this safe option.

Bubba Bun Likes it

Bubba likes it. I have to get more creative with it. He’ll chew for a while and moves on. I got some good ideas from other reviews and going to give them a try.

Nice chewable rope!

My rabbit loves to chew so this is handy when making safe DIY chew toys. It is easy to handle, tie knots with, and not scratchy. It does only take a couple chomps to break through a single strand but for me that’s fine. I like to tie off my hay stuffed toilet paper rolls with this!

edible rope

I use this seagrass rope to attach things to my bunnie's cages. It's a bit stiff to use but they enjoy chomping it when they get to it. I have purchased several times in the past.

Safe and useful

You can use this to make all kinds of homemade rabbit toys, and the best part is that it’s safe! Before I started only buying from BinkyBunny, I tried ordering some twine from Amazon and I knew from the horrible chemical smell right out of the box I wouldn’t let that, or any other cheap sketchy stuff like that, ever come near my rabbits. Now I only buy toys from BinkyBunny because I know I can trust that their products will be safe and great quality.

Great for tying homemade toys together!

Cloud absolutely loves chewing on the twine. A couple times in the past, I would catch him trying to pull it out and gnaw on it! He also enjoys running around with the little bits he gets and eating smaller parts! To give him a challenge in getting his treats, I’ll tie them using this twine, and it works far better than anything else I’ve used!

Bunny Spaghetti

This twine is magical. Our little Stuart has a deformed jaw, which prevents him from doing much chewing (other than food). He never showed much interest in any kind of chew toy, until this twine came along! I accidentally left it out one day after fixing our bunnies' Little Grass Shack, and came back to find Stuart happily munching on the coil. It was an exciting day for us. Thank you to whoever thought up this product.

Multi-purpose and edible

I have used this to "weave" together grass mats for my no-fabrics-allowed-because-she-eats-them bun and most recently to tie around clipped wheatgrass at veggie time. It looked very fancy :D In a pinch, I have also used it to hold x-pens together until I could find a clip. It's a little hard to tie if you have a short piece, but that is really the only drawback.

Bonnie's new favorite!

I bought this to wrap around the bars of my bunny's cage since he is always chewing on them. Before I could even start, he began unraveling it and ripping it apart. He absolutely loved it and it was all torn down by the next day! I highly recommend for even the pickiest of bunnies!

Just what we needed for "house repairs"

We have medium-sized Dutch buns and can never seem to find a good hay playhouse for them. All the ones currently on the market are either too small, or use basic twine to hold the sides together. Our bunnies chew EVERYTHING so I don't feel safe giving them anything containing twine, as they WILL eat it and it can clog their digestive system. Anyway, we have one safe playhouse from many years ago that is both big enough and 100% made from safe, chewable sea grass. Unfortunately it's so chewed up that it's starting to fall apart. Thankfully now that I've found this sea grass "twine," we can tie the sides of the house back together and keep it in service for awhile longer! And I won't have to worry about the buns getting sick from chewing on the tying material!

Fun even on its own!

I was making a toy for my bunny and left some of this dangling down at the door to his crate. Turned around to find him batting at it, chewing on it, and even dragging it around like a cat! I guess this is fun stuff even without a toy attached!

My bunny likes this a lot

Great for chewing. Bunny loves it. However, I keep finding little pieces left over, which bunny is not interested in.

Great twine

I made toys from the twine my bunnies play for hours with them. So happy you had this. Thanks again!!

Good stuff

When she's in the mood for hay, but hay isn't quite what she wants, she'll munch on a foot-long piece of this enthusiastically.

Good product!

Came with more twine than i expected, which was great! I wove pieces of it through cardboard to make a patch of "grass". Took me an hour to make and took bunny 2 minutes to destroy. The only reason i may not buy this again is that it didnt keep him occupied very long! Fun project material, though.
