Puppet & Surrogate - Floppy Bunny
Share:
CAUTION: Though this model is one of my personal favorites because it is so very soft and it's larger than the others, and its fur is the shortest and sheds less - However, it has a little bean bag, filled with plastic beads, at the bottom of each floppy ear. One of our customers said it was easy for her to cut a slit in the ear, and pull the little bag out. I originally discontinued this surrogate once I found out about the beads, but my bunny Vivian loves this bunny, and many of our customers said their bunnies love this model too. So instead of discontinuing it, completely, we are just issuing this warning: There are little bean bags in the bottom of the ears that you may want to remove, especially since some bunnies like to nibble on the surrogates ears. It would be harmful for your bunny to digest the plastic beads. There is also a bean bag inside of the bunny toward the back, but it's much more buried inside (it's gives it weight). However, you need to be aware and make sure to take the surrogate away if your bunny likes to tear it to pieces, instead of the groom it.
My bunnies have always loved to cuddle up to a toy bunny buddy, and now we found the perfect one! Superior quality, non-shedding material, ultra soft Floppy Bunny Rabbit is a 17-inch bundle of bunny buddy joy. Watch your lonely bunny snuggle with their new friend just like they would with a real bunny. This bunny rabbit puppet has a place for your hand just behind the front legs with movable mouth and front paws as you can have floppy bunny groom your bunny!
TIPS TO HELP YOUR BUNNY ACCEPT THE SURROGATE: Make it smell like a bunny. Brush your bunny's fur and then rub all the loose fur from the comb all over the surrogate. Or cuddle with the surrogate yourself to get your own scent on it. That way, the surrogate smells less like a toy. I know that may sound goofy, but it works. Of course, this doesn't have to be for your bunny! Holland Lop Rabbit will hop into the hearts of young and old alike! A perfect gift for your favorite bunny lovin' human, (which could be you too!). Note: Though MY bunnies can be chewers, they do not chew on their bunny buddy. (may have a small little love nibble here and there). However, there is no guarantee that your bunny won't chew on this either. If you bunny does try and actually eat the material, you will have to remove it from your bunny.

My bunny has already cuddled right up to it. Excellenr craftsmanship!
This bunny is very cute and my rabbits love it! They groom him like he's real!
SO SOFT! Our girl, Rosie-bunny, snuggled right up to her ♥️. I'm really happy with my purchase
I use this l'il guy for everything but my bunny! Belle didn't like it, it smelled of perfume. So I took it to my room and the cats have snuggled with it, I use it between my knees while sleeping to keep them from bruising, he looks quite handsome on my bed as a decorative pillow. I took the bead packets out of the ears as suggested just in case my bunny decides she needs a smooshy friend.
Cute!! I cut the monofilament whiskers and my bun has a buddy he snuggles with …❤️
I've had this "stuffy" long enough that it has the scent of many other bunnies I've rescued, offering it to them to see if they'd be more comfortable around the "resident" buns. It definitely helped them to feel at home (even tho they could smell REAL bunnies nearby). I currently have a bonded pair, and my female REW NZ is always grooming the stuffies and puppets as well as her mate, and it seems to make her feel like she still has the company of other bunnies that have been in her home. I usually leave it around where she can snuggle herself into a pile of stuffies, and I move it around so she doesn't think the "silent mate" has "stopped running"
I purchased this for my singleton bunny, it was her early birthday present :) Not only is it completely adorable, but my bunny is in love with it! She cuddles with and grooms her bunny friend "Eddie" all day. I couldn't afford to adopt another bunny, so I decided to try this instead. At first I was concerned with how expensive it was, but now I know it's the best thing I've ever bought for my bunny :)
My bunny is very timid still, but he tolerates a lot more petting when I use the puppet (and he even started grooming it)
This is nice because it's not too big and can fold flat. Oliver loves to hide inside it without feeling too confined.
BINKYBUNNY REPLY: Was this review for another product instead of the floppy bunny? It sounds like the Foldable tent not the Surrogate Floppy Bunny. :)
My girl took to this stuffie immediately. She is not obsessed with it, but it fulfills her desire to groom. Happy bunny.
My bunny is a diva who, after over 10 attempts at bonding, refuses everyone. She loves her stuffie, however, and grooms him regularly.

My girlfriend said my bun would ignore this surrogate, but boy was she wrong. She LOVES this thing. She brings it toys, lays nose-to-nose with it throughout the day, and loves when I put my hand inside and use it as a puppet to "groom" her. Sometimes it gets hot in my apt and I give her an ice pack. The other day she pushed the ice pack over to the surrogate to keep him cool. Most adorable thing ever. No problem so far with the beads in the ears, and my bun has a friend for life.
I only have one bunny and I didn't want him to be lonely so I decided to get him this surrogate. He was a little cautious but now he loves it! He likes it more when I use it as a puppet and he can play, but it makes me happy that he has a buddy that makes him feel less lonely now. I'm glad I bought it!
This bunny is a great companion for my single bunny. He loves to play with it and lay next to it. He doesn't mess with the balls that are inside the stuffed bunnies ears so I haven't had to deal with that. Overall I think it's a great product & I'm glad it's still available for purchase!
Although my girl bun Georgie has never paid attention to a stuffed rabbit before, she both groomed and mounted this one. Georgie lost her bonded companion a while ago, and its nice to see her enjoy this surrogate.
I bought this doll for my rescue Bunny Julie. After having julie now a few months I thought maybe Julie would enjoy having a friend while my husband and I are at work. But Julie doesnt care about it I've gone as far as sticking the bunny in her food dish while she is eating and she doesnt blink an eye! Julie is about 2-3 and is a very very calm and laid back bunny I guess she is happy getting all the attention. The doll is very cute and soft. My 1 yr old niece loved it when she came to visit. Oh well
