Sea Grass Mat LARGE [11" x 19" x 1/8"]

Finding a digging instinct outlet is challenging. My buns love to digging and chew to unravel this rug and eat it up. A safe alternative to ruining the edges of my rugs.

We just left behind 20 wonderful years of life with free-range indoor bunnies in California, only to enter an equally wonderful life with free-range outdoor bunnies in New Mexico. These mats have proven to be long-lasting dinner plates/tablecloths for cottontails who drop by for evening snacks after a hiding from the heat by day and from coyotes by night. And they're delightful binky bunnies too!

Great size, I use it on the carpet in a spot where the bunnies like to chew and now they chew this instead of the carpet.

Our 12 year old Florida White Kira loves the mat. She has disassembled it meticulously.

Evie hates all blankets/towels/rugs but she loves laying on her seagrass mat!!! So happy to have found a good flooring for this diva 😁

Took my rabbits some time to really understand the point of the mat. I'm still bonding my male and female fixed rabbits and cut the mat in half to put on either side of a gate they can see each other at because the male tended to chew the carpet out of nerves/frustration from being ignored. He took to the mat pretty quickly then she took to it a few weeks later.

I got my boy this mat as not just something for his nails to catch grip while hopping around, but also something safe for him to nibble on when bored. Cloud did not hold back— once he learned that it was chewable, he did not cease his gnawing until it was in scraps!

I plan to get another in the future, once the funds are set aside for fun stuff!

Buns love it

Oliver has a small, chronic sore on his hock that doesn't bother him but should not be left to fate. The straw mats aren't even quite smooth enough. The grass mat seems to do the trick.

These mats are an easy way to add enrichment and encourage appropriate areas for digging and chewing. My bunnies love these and destroy them regularly which is a better option than chewing up other things like rugs and flooring. I keep several on hand.

Successfully distracted my bunnies away from my walla/baseboards by strategically placing these around the bunny room. (and the kitchen. and bathroom. etc.) Thank you! They love chewing and destroying these.

Thumper seems to be more comfortable as he only would have the metal bottom to lay on once he has pushed everything out of the cage as always. He likes this mat and won’t even relieve himself on it which I think is quite cool but yet unbelievable. I’m sure he will just do it soon lol 👍🏻

Unfortunately, Fatty Pants doesn't like this too much, but its not the mat's fault. I got the latest size and it was an OK price for the size. Just wish Fatty Pants liked it.

The XL is a great size, exactly what I needed. However, it's not very durable. I use it to protect the floor underneath and put my bunny's digging blanket on top of it. As soon as she exposed the grass mat, she tore the whole corner to shreds! I'm not sure how long the whole thing will last. Definitely would not last at all if I didn't cover it. Also, it felt like it took forever to arrive. I'm not sure if I will buy again or look for something else.

I ordered this mat to put on the bottom of our bunny’s cage. We wanted something that would provide significant coverage and we didn’t have to worry about him chewing on. He absolutely loves it! It provides him with traction on his slippery plastic cage bottom and is something he can also take a nibble from if he so chooses. We will definitely be ordering more!

Thank you so much for selling amazing products like this sea grass mat. I am beyond surprised on how my picky bunny boy has enjoyed it! Let me be sincere when I say that my boy is a minimalist. He doesn't give any attention or affection to his bed or toys. Then when my husband and I were doing some research about sea grass mats and how useful they are to provide for the little ones, I didn't hesitate when clicking on the "add to cart" bar. The only regret I have is not having purchased more. Haha!

Love it, xl is so big. Have Flemish giant house rabbit whose a digger. Digs this instead of my rugs. Bought 5 more to put on top of rugs.

Our Florida White Kira is a chewer and she enjoys this grass mat. I have to get another as she is almost halfway chewed through the first one.

I bought five of these to cover up the holes our bunny George made on some larger seagrass carpets. He chewed one up right away, but we were fine with it because these mats are edible and don't have any plastic underlining. He lays on the rest or else moves them from time to time, playing with them. They are thin (not bulky) and well suited for our purposes. Will order again!

I had this mat recommended to me since my bunny has a grand time chewing up my carpet. I tried putting this over his usual spot, and he investigated it for all of two minutes before finding a different spot on the carpet. He is occasionally finicky about new things/changes to his environment, so I’m hoping this is just the case! I ordered the largest size, and it arrived fairly quickly. I’m happy with it, I’m just crossing my fingers that my bun eventually finds it more interesting.

I really like these mats. I got them for the bottom of my large outdoor rabbit hutch so my rabbits could get off of the wire. They nibble on them and seem to enjoy them but unfortunately one of them insists on peeing on them. So the product gets 5 stars but my bunny only gets 3.

The delivery was quick and I decided to get 2. It takes my gal about a week to shred it completely. Meanwhile, she lounges on it resting her chronic hock sores and she appears to be at ease. Great Purchase!!
