Sunflower plant stalks have been used as a popular roughage for livestock since the early 20th century. I put one in my girls foraging box in the living room then went to clean the kitchen. I could hear something in the dining room and it was her chewing on it! She brought from her forage box in the living room to the dining room. That's how I know it's a good treat, when she tales off with something hahaha
