We had had a hard time finding this, but it was exactly what we wanted. Our bunny loves them! Would purchase again. Fast shipping and quality product.
I ordered this for my holland lop rabbit who is four months old. There are a lot of sharp edges on the inside and decided not to keep it. I tried to return it with no luck!! I could not print out the return label for some reason and I reached out to Binky Bunny for some help. No one ever got back to me so it's still sitting in the box!! I won't be ordering anymore items from them in the future!! Very disappointing!!!!
Hi Donna - I am sorry to hear about your experience. I checked our emails and could not find one from you. : ( This is definitely a first regarding this Oxbow product - so we would definitely like to learn more. Please be on the look out for an email soon.
Perfect size for my rabbit Grim
Great for small to midsize buns, sturdier than it looks
We've bought a few bun-galows over the years, for various bunnies we've had. This thing smells extremely fresh and wonderful coming out of the wrapper. As far as the rabbits' opinion of it? Some of our bunnies LOVED it and spent time sleeping in it, chewing it into oblivion, etc. One bunny removed part of the bungalow in order to turn it into a tunnel, and then used it for naps (with the head sticking out at one end, and the legs at the other). Others mostly ignore it. Overall it tends to get used for a while, then ignored for weeks or months, and then used again later. As a house it's better suited for smaller rabbits, our bigger bunnies mostly just used it as a chew toy.
Nicely made but my bunny only went in once in two weeks..:( I think she doesnt like that it has only one entrance.
love the big bunny bungalow!!!
Our girl likes to spend time in here, not because we see her in it, but because we see the chewing she has done! This size would not work for larger rabbits to hang out in easily, but could definitely be used for enrichment. Out 4 lb. girl fits in it fine, however.
My rabbit loves it !!
This was our first try with this. I gave it to a young five pound bunny, and she now drags it into her box, eats it from the inside out. I once walked into her room, and she was hidden inside and the whole thing was shaking with her eating it!
This is the first rabbit-sized house I've ever purchased that is actually rabbit-sized. To boot, the grass smells great and seems pretty tasty - one of our bunnies loves to sit inside and nibble. When this one wears out, I'll be sure to get another!
My bunny loves this item and has tons of fun!
I purchased the bungalow and the tunnel so that I could connect them to make a hideaway. My bunny absolutely loves going inside and either hiding or gnawing on it so furiously that it shakes and moves around the rabbitat, at least as furiously as a little guy like him can (he was the runt of the litter that we saved from a meat farmer). Size may be an issue for larger bunnies so check the dimensions carefully.
Great item at a good price. Our bunny has been going in it and hanging out, especially now that the weather is cooler. Would totally recommend it.
It's a great little bungalow but my bunny isn't sure if she likes it. I bought it b/c she was digging in boxes and eating the cardboard. She doesn't chew or dig in it like I hoped. It's probably just her weird preference for cardboard--probably great for other bunnies!
The large Bungalow fits well into the corner of an X pen. It's become the Chosen Hole for my Zipper. She sleeps there, she would like to eat there (well, she does eat it, so she obviously does eat there). It takes about six weeks to get to a point of needing replacement, and they're worth the seeming expense. Clara, who recently passed away, found it a secure place to be when she felt bad although I could retrieve her easily when she needed meds or bathing. I highly recommend the Oxbow Bungalow as a bunny safe spot.
my bunnies love to hide inside, and BOTH (yes 2) love to squeeze together and hang out inside !!
At first, my little guy would stick his head in it and investigate, then he'd walk his way out backwards. he'll occasionally give it a quick nip with his teeth, but overall, he's not very interested in it or chewing on it. it really is a cute little basket though. we keep it more for decor ;)
NOPE. My rabbit does NOT approve. Thoroughly uninterested.
Woderful product. She loves it!
Our buuny loves it! He rolls it around and chews on it. Has not entered it yet... he is a big bunny.
Very well made, substantial weight and smells good. Not the lightweight kind you find in most pet shops. It will last a long time, even with your "Hansel & Gretel" bunnies easting it. My bunny loves it.
My mini-rex loves this bungalow. The minute I put it in his and his brother's pen, he went in it and started having fun!
The bungalows are wonderful - much better quality than the ones at Petco. The buns loved the biscuits, too!
This is my second one. My fosters seem to love to cuddle inside, run through (after creating a 'back door') and nom away at it.
Very durable! Has held up very well to my bunny's digging and chewing! Good place for them to hide out too! Definitely a new favorite and must have!
My rabbit loves this. He tears away at it all day. I do wish there was an even larger version, because my bunny is a little on the chubby side, but all in all its great!
I bought one of these for Coco, my adopted Dutch girl. She ignored it for the first two days ( she does this with everything thought) and then....
She promptly went to work on the back , deconstructing it to her specifications. Once a nice big hole was opened, she moved to reconstruct the front.
After 2 months, she has chewed through @30% of the bungalow, but works on it daily. I "spice" it up with a home made toy ( see Binky Bunny Toys Forum)
Coco isn't a "toy" girl - and believe me I've tried. But THIS, the bungalow, she likes. Plus it keeps her teeth busy on constructive chewing, and if she eats some - more the better!
